Maicy's Monster Piano Concert

Maicy had a piano concert May 9th at the South Towne Mall. There were five grande pianos and two small upright pianos. She did five songs. It was so cool. There were at least two kids per piano and they all played the same song together. They had to play exactly together. It was really fun.

Maicy playing one of the songs.

Our little Drew is getting big!

Andrew is moving around a lot now. He is almost crawling. He has done many face plants lately into the carpet. He has developed his arm strength and is able to catch himself now. I'm sure he'll be cruising in no time.

Piano Time!

Andrew loves to sit on Maicy's lap while she practices on the piano.

Playing at the Park

We decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and take a trip to the park. Andrew wasn't sure what to think of the swing. It was a little big for him, so he kept flopping around in it.

Bath Time!

Andrew loves taking a bath. It is his favorite play time.
We call this smile the scrunch nose smile. It is his biggest smile.

Best Buds!

These two are so cute together. They can't live without each other.

Happy Easter!

At our house on Easter sunday after church. It was nice , but windy.

Josh loves to pose for the camera. He actually broke the tree branch that he was sitting on!
It was a beautiful Easter Sunday!
Jake and Josh built a spaceship and let their imaginations soar. It's great being a kid.
Traveling to Mars in our spaceship!
In March, we went to Idaho Falls to visit my sister and her family. My niece Jenaya was baptized by her dad Ken. We had a lot of fun visiting them and are so glad that they are only three hours away now!

Don't I look just like my dad!

Just hanging out at Julie's house.
Jason with my dad and brother in law- Ken.

Jake couldn't stay away from the little puppy. He wishes that he could have a cute little dog.

We have been reading this book called "Married for Life". It is inspirations from couples that have been married for 50 years or more. With Valentines day on the horizon, here are a few words of wisdom from them: You only get out of marriage what you put into it
Have fun just being together
Never get to old to hold hands
Do everything you can to express your love
Let lifes experiences draw you closer together
Never let a day go by without telling each other"I Love You"
Always treat your wife like a lady
Learn to bend and not break
Do everything together
Don't expect to have everything right at the start
Agree that it's okay to disagree
Talk things out and never give up!

Hanging out in the computer/workout room. If both Jason and I are in the picture-who's behind the camera?

Maicy helping out at the boy's birthday parties.

Maicy was in the musical "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Draper Historic Theater. She had a wonderful time and made a lot of theater friends. She played Janey Bailey- George Bailey's daughter. She takes piano and voice lessons and now that she is twelve, she attends young womens at our church. She is in Junior High-ugh! Yes, I am old enough to have a 7 th grader. I can't believe how fast kids grow. I tell her to slow down, but she won't listen! She is 5'2" already!
James is getting ready to rock climb

Happy 10 th Birthday James! James had a swim party right after Joshua's party. (James is the one with the yellow shirt-yes it's an indoor pool, go figure) Here with two friends and his cousin Dresden. James is busy with scouts and working on his second degree black belt. He's in fourth grade and is so so about school-doesn't love it and doesn't hate it.

Happy Birthday Joshua!(middle) Yup, two boys born on the same day, three years apart- what are the odds! Josh had a swim party this year. He's not a fish yet, thus the life jacket. He had a great time. It's fun to swim in the winter.

Jake with his cousin Makenna at the Dimple Dell rec. center. He loves the water!

Jake is happy eating his ice cream at Joshua's birthday party this month. We are getting used to his new smile with a missing front tooth. He had an accident and had to have his front tooth pulled out as well as stitches on his upper lip. We think that he looks even cuter with his new smile!

Little Andrew is now 6 months old. He is starting to become interested in baby food and loves to chew on everything. He loves to be held so he isn't too interested in moving around yet. He sleeps through the night-lucky for mom! He is a bundle of joy. His big brothers love to make him laugh and big sis likes playing with him.

I love the reflection pool at Temple square. The lights reflecting off the water is like a mirror. It is peaceful and beautiful.

Tis the season of lights

This time of year is spectacular at Temple square. The lights are beautiful as well as the grounds surrounding the Temple. It is our family tradition to visit every year after Thanksgiving.

Halloween Anyone???

Well it's about that time of year, when the leaves are changing and fall is upon us. The holidays are coming and it all starts with Halloween. Here are James, Josh & Jake and their costume's for this year. James is a Starwars "clone warrior", Josh is an "astronaut" and Jake is a "SWAT" team member. Fun, fun, fun I love the holidays!

Josh's Belt Test

Josh had a belt test recently and earned his "RED" belt! He really enjoys his karate classes and seem to excel - Way to go Josh!

James and I had took the opportunity to attend a REAL Salt Lake soccer game a week or so ago. All I can say is what a statium, man that thing is cool! The game was great REAL 3 - FC Dallas 1 can't complain about that...
